Always Put The Paint In the Boot…….

Note to self:  Always put the paint in the boot!!!

The people in the blue car had a 25-litre (5 gallon) bucket of paint on the
back seat when they had the accident.

The ambulance driver wouldn’t let the female paramedic out of the ambulance
Because she couldn’t stop laughing — he said it wasn’t professional.

He treated the sad looking driver – apparently, he was overcome with emulsion.

100mph drip catcher

It’s not until you start delving a little deeper into what the customer needs an absorbent for that you come up with the unusual uses they want to put them to.

A client rang us to buy some general purpose absorbent rolls the other day and they merely stated they were for their vintage car business. So, quite rightly, it was suggested that an ‘oil only’ product might be more suitable and if the cars are static then a drip tray with pads might be the solution.

‘No’, said the customer, “it needs to absorb anti-freeze as well as the older cars tend to leak a bit of this as well.” Jokingly we asked if the cars should be fixed if they’ve got that many leaks, “it’s quite common, just occaisional drips”, he said, “especially when they are driven at speed.”

“What do you want absorbents for if the cars are moving”, we asked.  “Ah.. well,” he replied, “you see, we race vintage and old cars for ourselves and other clients, and secure the absorbent to the inside of the sump tray to catch any leaks and drips when they are racing, we are not allowed to drip anything onto the circuit and these work perfectly.”

So there you have it a 100mph leak and drip catcher.

The Biggest Cat Litter Tray Ever

An enquiry from a customer the other day raised an eyebrow or two in the office the other day.

A gentleman called about our 1.2m x 1.2m drip tray and our staff always ask what use it is going to be put to, just in case there might be chemical compatibility problem or there might be different product better suited to the proposed use.

It turns out that he was going away on holiday and they have a couple of cats that would be looked after by a ‘pet-sitter’ during this time. He explained that the cats, when they use the normal sized cat litter tray, flick the material all over the place when they’ve done their business. He felt that the largest drip tray we have would solve the problem of the cat litter being spread all over the floor and the pet-sitter not having to clear up the mess every day.

Not the normal use we expect this product to be used for but perfect for the job nonetheless.
