Fuel spilled over landing strip at Tamiami Airport

Fuel was spilled over the landing strip at Tamiami Airport.

Following a hard land landing at the airport in Southwest Miami, the nose of a Cessna aeroplane hit the tarmac causing the propeller to bend. The rough land landing caused fuel to spill over the landing strip and the runway to be closed until a cleanup had been carried out.

There was only one person on-board and there were no injuries, according to officials.

Soak up oil and fuels safely and effectively with our absorbent anti-static rolls. These static-dissipative rollss are ideal for use in fueling areas and places where flammable vapors can be present.

The static-dissipative oil absorbent rolls come boxed in a static-dissipative bag to help lower the build-up of static charges. Fuel storage depots and aircraft re-fuellers should consider these new safety products when refilling their spill response kits.

Extremely versatile heavyweight non-bonded oil and fuel absorbent that can be used indoors or outdoors, in the wet or dry.

These rolls are perfect for the absorbtion of hydrocarbon spills as will float on water and only absorb the oil. They are the perfect solution where static electricity poses a problem. Deploy around flammable liquids. Ideally used in dry environments with low humidity or confined spaces where flammable vapors may be present.

Bonded and perforated heavyweight oil only roll that can be used indoors or outdoors and in the wet or dry.
